Brandon an Owner and CEO of our California Office and has over 20 years of broad experience in the real estate and lending industry. Brandon is a licensed CPA, real estate broker and principally a sales and mortgage professional and manager. Brandon has over 6 years of audit and assurance experience with Ernst & Young LLP. He has serviced a range of public and private real estate clients including real estate funds, real estate fund advisors, REITs, and real estate related services firms.
Prior to starting American VA Loans, Brandon obtained his Bachelors of Science in Accounting, with a minor in Latin American Studies from Brigham Young University. Brandon has experience syndicating investments, and acquiring and managing residential and small multi-unit properties through management and active participation in Catamaran Group LLC, an owner-operator of residential rental properties.

BLAKE NUTTALL

Blake is a Mortgage Loan Originator and Partner at American VA Loans, which he helped form in 2019 to simplify the homebuying process for Veterans. With over a decade of experience, he began his career at Patriot Home Mortgage in 2012 and earned a degree in Business Management from Brigham Young University in 2010. Fluent in Spanish, Blake lived in Argentina from 2005 to 2007, enhancing his ability to connect with diverse clients. A former All-American swimmer and endurance athlete, Blake has competes in Swimrun races across the USA and Europe and completed a the St. George Ironman Triathlon. He also manages several real estate investments, including short-term rentals, reflecting his genuine interest in and hands-on experience with different areas of the real estate industry.
